Community Rules & Code of Conduct

Discord & community spaces

These rules apply to all members of Super Cars Collective Discord server and related community spaces. Accept during onboarding in #welcome-start-here.

Core rules

  1. Be respectful — no harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
  2. Stay on-topic — use the appropriate channel for each subject.
  3. No unsolicited DMs or member promotions — do not use direct messages, friend requests, server invitations, or other private channels to solicit members for outside groups, businesses, products, services, social-media accounts, or promotions without prior authorization from community administration. Ordinary personal conversation is permitted; this rule targets unsolicited advertising and using membership as a marketing list. Ads and business promotion belong only in approved channels.
  4. Drive safe — we do not encourage illegal street racing, reckless driving, or evading law enforcement.
  5. Follow the law — UAE regulations, traffic laws, and Discord Terms of Service apply.
  6. Protect privacy — do not share others' personal information without consent.
  7. Moderation — staff may remove content, mute, or ban members who break rules.

Channel-specific rules

Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, role loss, temporary mute, or permanent ban. Serious violations (illegal activity, threats, fraud) may be reported to authorities.

Intellectual property, community integrity, and commercial misuse

All members, businesses, community organizers, and affiliated parties must respect the intellectual property, proprietary systems, commercial interests, community infrastructure, and confidential information of Collectives L.L.C. and its affiliated communities.

Participation in any Collectives community does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, appropriate, commercially exploit, or misuse Collectives' protected materials, systems, or information.

The following activities are prohibited without prior written authorization from Collectives L.L.C.:

  1. Unauthorized copying or replication. Copying, reproducing, distributing, adapting, or creating unauthorized derivative works from Collectives' protected software, applications, website content, documentation, graphics, trademarks, designs, databases, or other proprietary materials.
  2. Misappropriation of community infrastructure. Unauthorized access to, extraction from, or exploitation of Collectives' protected community infrastructure, including the Hub, Discord integrations, SOS systems, Marketplace services, business directories, and administrative processes.
  3. Member and business data harvesting. Scraping, systematically collecting, exporting, compiling, or exploiting member information, contact details, business records, community directories, or other non-public data for unauthorized external use, commercial solicitation, or competing services.
  4. Commercial exploitation. Using access obtained through Collectives to improperly acquire, disclose, or exploit confidential commercial information, proprietary business methods, pricing information, technical documentation, or restricted operating procedures.
  5. Unauthorized community solicitation. Using Collectives' servers, communication channels, directories, member information, or administrative privileges to conduct unsolicited recruitment, mass invitations, commercial promotions, or coordinated member migration to outside platforms or competing services without authorization.
  6. Misrepresentation and impersonation. Falsely claiming affiliation with, endorsement by, authority from, or ownership of Collectives or its communities, or using confusingly similar protected branding to mislead members or businesses.
  7. Circumvention of access controls. Bypassing technical restrictions, abusing permissions, deploying unauthorized automated collection tools, or accessing restricted systems or data without permission.

Violations may result in content removal, suspension or permanent termination of community access, revocation of applicable privileges, and other appropriate measures. Where legally justified, Collectives L.L.C. reserves the right to preserve relevant evidence, pursue available contractual or intellectual-property remedies, and refer suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

This rule does not prevent lawful independent business activity, ordinary competition, participation in other communities, or the use of independently developed ideas and technologies. It does not transfer ownership of member-created content or independently owned intellectual property to Collectives. Any restriction is interpreted and enforced in accordance with applicable law and existing contractual rights.
